Did Burns lose confidence - yes. But a lot of the comments are stating he played 15 yards off the ball. That is on Kevin Butler and the defense he called on those plays. Let me throw one name out there - Ike Taylor. Taylor lost his confidence and was also benched. He came back from that and became arguably one of the best corners to ever put on a Steelers' jersey. I'm not saying Burns will do that but I'm also not ready to burn a first round pick. Burns had a good first year for a rookie corner and a decent second year. Last year was definitely a let down for Burns. Can he bounce back? He will have to be on the roster to find out.
