Education is key, my local club work with the local community and do litter picks around a lake they rent from the local council which is in the middle of a housing estate, it helps build bridges.between the two groups who use the lake and at the same time hopefully educates the young people that by leaving litter it can have a very bad impact on the natural environment.

I'm lucky that the waters I fish are fairly litter free, however just this week I removed a red bull can from my swim which was found on arrival. The take 'Five' campaign from the AT is a great way to educate. With recycling the norm in many households maybe in 50 years litter on the waterways will be history.

Great blog, enjoy your Rev's Reflections and life lessons.
