I saw a little bit of Kelly in the pre-season and thought some raw talent there but practice squad since we wouldn't carry three. Andrew retires and I though another smart move by Chris and we will go with Jacoby backed up by Chad. Wait ... Hoyer for $12M?? OK, we want a Vet if Jacoby goes down. Well the Vet couldn't handle the Dolphins at home. Even with a real messy game (see the stat line), we could have tied it at the end (Vinny!!!) but bad play calls and poor play from the QB and we loose another close one. Bite the bullet on the $12M and put Chad at QB2. Oh ya and Adam is definitely at a full count. Let him see the next pitch.

I have followed Chad through OM ETC. HE HAD NO ISSUES AT OM. DENVER ISSUE VERY OUT OF CHARACTER EVEN AFTER LEAVING CLEMSON. THERE IS A STORY UNTOLD AT DENVER WHICH HAD MORE TO DO WITH JOHN THAN CHAD.
CHAD HAS AN EDGE YOU WANT! HE IS A WINNER AND LEADER. GREAT ARM AND SMART WHEELS WHEN NEEDED.
I LIKE JACOBY BUT CHAD WILL BE BETTER WITH VERY LITTLE MORE EXPERIENCE.
CHAD WOULD HAVE WON THE GAME IF HE ENTERED AT HALF TIME.
CHAD IS GOING TO TAKE SOMEONE DEEP INTO THE PLAYOFFS AND THEN COACHES AND OWBERS ARE GOING TO WONDER HOW THEY WERE SO RISK AVERSE! IF THEY TRULY KNEW CHAD, AND THEY SHOULD, THIS IS A NO BRAINER.

I thought the first interception was BS. Hoyer was absolutely terrible and had no touch on anything past 7yrds. Frank should of tightened the passes to underneath and played more screens. Miami was teeing off from the right side and the Colts did nothing to stop the aggressiveness of Miami's defense. Frank was outcoached in this one.

Chad Kelly is an amazing talent and a great leader. If he starts vs. the Dolphins, the Colts blow him out. Tbh, I believe he’s even better then Jacoby. Frank needs to give Chad a shot ASAP. He’s a potential star ....

Not only was Hoyer hoyer--rable,,, Vinatiere should RETIRE. Swallow the pride, whatever.... Sure, if Colts could score more and not leave it up to a field goal or x-tra point try, Kicking game has now cost the Colts THREE games.

Chad Kelly is a great quarterback! I thought after his preseason performance that he should have started over Brissett. Brissett has definitely earned the starting job, but Hoyer looked horrible and Kelly should have been put in before halftime. Hoyer was 6-18 with 2INT at halftime. Putting Kelly in would have at least demonstrated that the Colts wanted to win the game. Hoyer is hoyerrible.
