What was most impressive about the Bears offense in win vs. Cowboys?

Mitch has had an eratic OL most of the year, no TE help until now, no running game, the highest drop rate by his receivers, receivers running wrong routes (AM) and only one reliable receiver (AR), who is routinely double teamed. Meanwhile, except for the last couple of games, his coach had failed to use Trubisky's mobility and athleticism, and instead has limited him to the pocket, with little offensive support.
Somehow, everyone was shocked that this young quarterback underperformed, after being placed in a situation optimized for failure.
Despite all this, this young man never criticized anyone, and always pointed to himself for further improvement. THAT shows character and leadership.
In the Dallas game, Mitch showed franchise level skill against a quality opponent. Will he be consistent? Only time will tell. But until Mitch has a reliable OL, TE, running game and #2 receiver we should not be so quick to point fingers at one individual, when the issues are more systemic.
It would be a waste of resources to be looking for another franchise quarterback in 2020. Mitch has shown enough for an extension, at least. Instead, Pace needs to help his QB in round 2 by getting help for the OL and TE. In later rounds he can go for defensive back.
Nothing wrong with looking at a QB to back up Mitch in later rounds.
Let's not forget that coach Nagy, as a new HC, is also learning on the job. As good as Belicheck is now, he also had a learning curve. Coach Nagy called a good, balanced, game against Dallas. I couldn't predict what would come next. Between the play calls, and MT's decisions to run at opportune times, made the Bears offense dangerous and unpredictable. It was fun to watch. Nice to see that the hard work had payoff.
