Pagano is a cut below Fangio. He needs to tighten up his secondary. The occasional mix up, or lack of communication is troublesome. We saw how opponent's receivers were getting wide open in our backfield from time to time leaving our guys looking at each other as to who was supposed to cover that receiver. That should never happen on a solid defense. I suspect the addition of Clinton Dix MAY be contributory since he was new in the backfield. Pagano & THE SECONDARY/SAFETIES COACHES need to sort it out this training camp. NO MORE FU-K UPS IN THE BACKFIELD!!! Amukamara is one of the suspects.
Why can't our defenders make quick adjustments to guys they know are most likely to get the ball? We saw how Thomas saints (WR) caught passes in the middle down the lenth of the field culminating in TDs with Bridgewater pitching. Then they worked the sidelines all the way down the field again. Budy Ryan would have stuffed those plays after a few times. Pagano slow to adjustments sometimes, or not adequately preparing to shut down opposing receivers.
Lastly, guys can't tackle for sh-t!!! How many times have you seen guys get to a receiver like a jet firghter, and WHIFFED, MISSING A SURE TACKLE, OR LETTING THE GUY SLIP AWAY. THEY NEED TO LEARN FROM KWIATKOWSKI HOW TO LOCK DOWN A TACKLE. TACKLING IS A MIND SET. THE COACHES NEED TO GET THAT INTO THEIR HEADS. SOMETHING FOR PAGANO TO ENFORCE. IF HE DESIRES A GREAT DEFENSE. A wrestling coach, or Martial Arts coach might be helpful.

Kwiatkowski is the best linebacker in the corps period. Travathan plays like an old man. slow, usually out of position, gets hurt easily, and overpaid. Burton can't get healed. When we needed him the most against the Eagles playoff in Chicago, he was unavailable. Since then very spotty and not impactful. GET RID OF BURTON, CREATE SOME CAP $ FOR FOR EBRON. KEEP HORSTED, HOLTZ, YOUNG PLAYERS, GET RID OF THE REST (TEs)
GET RID OF CHASE DANIELS TO CREATE MORE CAP SPACE FOR A GOOD QB LIKE TEDDY BRIDGEWATER. I am not sold on Brady at 42 years old. We need to think long term, unless we expect he'll lead us deep into the playoffs right away.
Since Nagy isn't going anywhere soon, we need an improvising quick witted QB like Brady, Mahommes, Aaron Rogers who usually make lemonade out of lemon play calls. Nagy also regressed in 2019. I blame him for crapy 3- and- out calls. He kept calling plays that didn't work. Last game called about 5 flat out receiver plays where the defenders kept flying past our blockers to sack the wide-outs for loses. Everytime Nagy called it, it resulted in no gain, or a loss. Why keep calling the same play which guys can't block. Wasn't the play practiced during the week??? Nevertheless, he stubbornly kept calling it, wasting downs. I can recall so many bone head calls he made during the season, totally opposite of his 1st year plays that were fun to watch. Is it Trubinsky's, or the team's fault???
