Should the Bears pursue QB Jameis Winston?

Don't sign Winston. He is not a proven product with many downsides. Trubinski like Cutler, Grossman, et al, have PSYCHO-GENETIC CULTURAL ISSUES that cannot be cured by regular coaches. Rivers IS not THE ANSWER. Brady maybe, on a 1 year contract. if there is enough cap room. TEDDY BRIDGEWATER -- ABSOLUTELY. LET US TRADE TURBINSKI TO SAINTS FOR BRIDGEWATER. SHAUN PAYTON IS AN EXCELLENT QB COACH. MITCH WILL DEFINITELY IMPROVE & FLOURISH UNDER PAYTON. BEARS NEED AN ALREADY SEASONED QB, AND TEDDY IS ALREADY THERE & has more playing years ahead. PAYTON WAS A QB HIMSELF, WHO BRIEFLY PLAYED FOR THE BEARS. THE PROBLEM WITH THE BEARS IS NAGY. YES NAGY!!!!! SH-TTY PLAY CALLS LAST YEAR. CRAPPY 1ST HALF CALLS. BETTTER 3RD & USUALLY 4TH qtr CALLS. WHY DOES IT TAKE HIM SO LONG TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE OPPOSITION IS DOING. COACHES ALWAYS GET THE BLAME, SO HE IS CULPABLE. IT'S HIS SHIP, AND THUS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WHOLE TEAM. DESPITE REPLACING OFFENSE COACHING STAFF, HE WILL STILL BE CALLING THE PLAYS SO IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE WHAT CHANGES. IF THERE IS ANY HOPE MAYBE DEFILLIPO ET AL WILL FIGURE OUT HOW TO OPEN HOLES FOR A RUNNING GAME, & PASS PROTECT EFFECTIVELY, & CONSISTENTLY. If Nagy sucks again this year, Ryan Pace, and Nagy may not return at contract expiration. The team has regressed instead of improving at year #3. Hopefully Defillipo, will coach up Mitch. I lke Mitch's personality, but he's been with the wrong coach, who did not fully & effectively utilize Mitch's talents.
Coach Billichick, "Tell me what a player can do, NOT what he can't do, and we'll use his talents to beat the opposition" Nagy has failed to do that except for the excellent play-calling against Dallas in Chicago last Fall. He showcased Trubinski's talents very well for that game. Dallas had no answer for Trubinski's running skills, & RPOs. Usually, its coaching that makes a great player besides the player's skills.
Nagy should bring in Ives from practice squad, and use Holtz as often with great design TE plays to increase productivity. They need an accurate passer like Brady, or Bridgewater to put the balls in their hands.
Meanwhile, on defense, Pagano needs to tighten things up. Missed tackles, poor tackling techniques, players out of position, not controlling gaps occasionally, or gap disciplined. Not preparing on how to stop dominant offensive star players. Move Khalil Mack around as often as possible, get more from 1st Round Draft Leonard Floyd, move him around also, or put him and Mack on same side to throw off O-Lines. Scheme much better like Buddy Ryan. I did not sense that aggressiveness we read about when he was hired. I was frankly disappointed how the defense regressed from his predecessor, Vic Fangio. We also need much better safeties & corners plays. CHICAGO IS KNOWN FOR DEFENSE. SO LET'S LIVE UP TO THE REPUTATION!!!

Absolutely NO, this young man has ZERO moral compass. Go back to his days at FSU, I would never make him a part of my franchise at ANY cost.

Leave Mitchell Trubisky alone and correctly depict his record. How would he have been quarterback and offensive line all by himself, does one man now comprise a team?

Who ever thought of this and wrote this is an idiot. Why get rid of a guy who at least isn’t the new generation’s Vinny Testerverde cmon now so all Chicago can watch him throw 3o ints in a division with Green Bay cmon now what are you smoking package it and sell it

Winston's agent must be calling in a favor. Lets look at their only head to head meeting.
Winston 150 yds 2 Int's and 1 td before getting pulled.
    Trubisky 350 yds 6 td's 0 int's

    nuff said.
