Do you favor the University of Wisconsin's regents mandating punishment for disruption of free speech?

The fact that Republicans generally favor this regulation should not affect our judgment of its worth. Republicans
also accept the existence of gravity. The ACLUish argument that it will "chill" free speech to impose penalties for
denying others the right of free speech is illogical on its face. The argument that regulation like this can be misused is
reasonable in principle, but it could be made against regulation of any kind, such as that students must pass exams.

Academic administrations have, by and large, brought the imposition of rules like this one by Regents boards or by governments on themselves, by their laxity in enforcing rules of civility on the recent wave of disruptions, de-platformings, and woke exhibitionism.
