  We love Young Sheldon, the different direction the writers have taken it from Big Bang show's depiction of Sheldon's family; it is more like Wonder Years funny mixed with touching scenes of great, caring family, including brother, sister, Mom, Dad, and MeeMaw. We, however, were disappointed with the meanness of MeeMaw and Georgie throwing eggs at the ex's house. The brother was very responsible and we were surprised at the meanness of the ex to fire him, but liked how MeeMaw was upset that he was fired, but expected her to defend the boy rather than vandalizing property. We hope that you stay the course that you were on, the funny but touching interaction of this family, the caring and love each character has for this unique child interspersed with the humor. I'm a Big Bang Theory fan from early on and they depicted Dad as beer-drinking good for nothing, Mom as religious zealot, brother and sister that Sheldon didn't get along, and he only cared for MeeMaw. So, I did not care to watch Young Sheldon, but my wife and I had it recorded on DVR and watched anyway, ever-ready to delete. We were hooked when it showed Mom was loving, Dad was caring, brother and sister were respectful, and we hated that MeeMaw initially was not nice, but you redirected her to be a kind
  person, shown especially how she was compassionate towards the professor's mental illness. You writers have done a terrific job in taking Young Sheldon as a stand-alone show, and I do feel that your touching scenes that connect it with Big Bang are wonderful. And that is why we were disappointed with the egg throwing scene. We are looking forward for the next episode, the next season, and if you continue the course, keep whoever or the team of writers that are responsible for the superb show of humor-kindness-touching-loving family, we'll be watching forever! By the way, the show and the finale, to us is an A grade, but I gave the finale a B because of the egg throwing.
