I felt the season premiere lacked the richness of the previous episodes. I was wondering if there have been changes in the writing staff. I love, love these characters but something seemed a little off in the season premiere. I hope it's just my desire for more Greenleaf which is definitely one of the best shows with a majority black cast on T.V. Greenleaf and Queen Sugar - love them both.

The season premiere was great. They covered a lot - the mystery guy from last season; why Bob is in Memphis; Kerissa trying to blackmail Jacob; Charity wanting to kill Phil and Bishop & Lady Mae getting re-married. An unbelievable episode to start the new season. I loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, that was a tough thing to have happen to AJ. I am looking forward to the next episode and the rest of the season.

I watch my favorite show Greenleaf last night there were to many commercials. I counted 20 in 1 hour. Is this the norm
