Yes. It would have given fans a chance to see a dramatic finish.
I don't know. Fans could have gotten a more exciting finish, but it would have taken forever to repair or replace the attenuator at the pit-entrance.
No. Not all races have to finish in a photo finish. Sometimes, they just finish under yellow. That's part of racing.
