If I'm making my vegan taco rice then I don't have time to clean, got the guac going on one surface, cutting veggies on another, getting the "meat" ready, balancing the eight spices for the guac and the twelve spices for the "meat" while heating the tortilla and preparing the serving dishes and starting the leftover chili for the next day on the back burner... no time is wasted and everything gets served at the right time and temperature, but no time to clean. But if I'm making bleu steaks cooked over onions, then it's much simpler and there is time to clean, so I clean.

I used to be a clean as you cook gang member until I moved into an apartment with a dishwasher. Now, all bets are off!
If I’m at home by myself cooking, then I clean as I go. But if my husband is home it’s “I cooked so you clean up”.
How can anyone enjoy a meal with your kitchen looking like hell? Please, clean as you cook.
