Do you worry about your unvaccinated friend and family?

I have this battle with my son over this very subject. His job is very high risk and he has the foolish mentality that if you're "healthy" that you will not get the 'rona I'm thinking about when I dropped him on his head to think like this. The last time that I talked to him, he was deciding about taking the vaccine. Maybe the light bulb will go off at some point.

I worry about the friends/play cousins who can't get vaccinated yet due to age. Luckily my close relatives are vaccinated. This Delta variant is not playing games. I also worry that the "unwashed" will allow the variants to mutate so much until they produce a variant that can escape our vaccines. Hopefully, scientists are keeping an eye on it and working on boosters to address the evolving virus. Sick of American selfishness and short-sightedness.

They made their decision and they gotta live (or die) with it. None of them are allergic to the vaccine or anything like that. I will just be loving them from a distance.
