Giving us Juneteenth as a federal holiday while fighting Critical Race Theory is so on par for this country. But hey it’s a holiday and I’ll take it.

I plan on treating this new holiday like i do all other holidays in this country. I understand this is a holiday for honoring your ancestors and celebrating their way out of bondage. Only way I know how to do that is to be with and honor the family I have in the present, eat some chicken and watermelon and be my free Black ass self. As per usual.
