Luis Jimenez is his own problem. If his mother wishes to care for him than he
can count himself a lucky man. However, in the matter of his outstanding
medical bill owed to Martin Memorial Hospital 2kliksout has cut through the
clutter with the proposal that the country of origin should be held responsible.
Guatemala should pay directly or through a reduction in any proposed foreign aid bill. Also the million plus Guatemalan illegals in the U.S. that work off the books should be taxed by monitoring the money transfers made to their families every payday and taxing those without a proper green card or s.s.#.

I agree with Mr. Carmen with one additional thought. The illegal immigrant
should be detained as soon as his status is known, all information regarding him
and his family and country of origin should be garnered to collect for his medical
bills. We should sue his country of origin for the cost or delete them from foreign aid packages for that country.

Well, the hospitals should not pay for them.. If the govt. is allowing the illegals to come in then they should pay for them or send them home. We have our own people who work here and pay taxes who are are legal and abide by the rules.

I am totally against the federal or local governments paying hospital or any costs for illegal immigrants. Why should our hard earned tax dollars support these immigrants who are here illegally? Let them become US Citizens.
There are so many poor American citizens who cannot afford health insurance.
