When you are camping and it's time for bed, if you have damp things on the line do you take them down?
Of course. If the object is to dry things, then we don't want them to get dew on them. Besides, it only takes a few seconds.
No way, it is a waste of time. The dew (if any) will evaporate quickly. Besides, they will certainly not dry if you take them off the line.
