It's different, I'll give you that, but surely the bride knew there was a possibility of this happening when she shacked up with his best man's mate in the first place. I mean, she's can't exactly say "Ooooh! I had no idea you were best mates with someone who's porked me!" They must have gone to the pub together at some point.

Who knew whom first? Was he in a relationship with the bride as the time of her 'encounter' with the best-man-to-be? Are there any residual feelings on either part?
On the bare facts, I agree with the bride. It would be bloody weird!
