The vaccine is just too new and I feel like it was rushed to the market. I have talked to several people who work in the medical field - nurses and therapists mainly, and they have all told me they will not be getting it for them or their families.
My whole family got it because we'll have a newborn under the age of 6 months in the house. We were told that a newborn could not fight off such an aggressive strain of flu. So far so good- Maeve (2 yrs.) and Ryan both got the live virus and no reaction whatsoever. I got the shot (inactive vax) and feel completely fine as well. I'm really happy with our decision... I feel like I can breathe, relax and start going out in public again!!!
