I Live in the country and frequently walk in a walnut orchard. They swoop down below the foliage instead of over the tree . It is truly a sight to see.I always feel privledged to be allowed to experience this. Some times there is a great cacophony of crow screeches and eventually an owl will leave the orchard accompanied by many angry crows as if they have finally shamed it into leaving. I've heard that the owls disturb the crows nests and are not welcome there.
