You can keep the toolbar but you can make an option that every moment you pull down you'll see the toolbar AND refresh automatically the timeline. Maybe you can add some nice separator dividing the timeline from the toolbar when it's visible, or place the text like "profile" "refresh" under the icons!

Please keep the current toolbar! The Osfoora toolbar is unique. "Pull to refresh" has been copied a dozen times since Tweetie 2 came out. The Osfoora toolbar offers some other options, and I really like the one that jumps down your timeline - something I've not come across on any other twitter apps.
Changing to "pull to refresh" will take away some unique functionality, and the refresh button is there anyway so it's only one extra tap. Besides, Osfoora has auto refresh that's able to be set to ONE minute, so between that and the fact that the refresh button is on the toolbar already, I think you'd be taking a step backward.
