I've been reading extra non-fiction books - things I wouldn't even see normally, possibly because they are less common books, but on kindle I've been braver since I don't have to worry about buying, and I can preview more easily.

The convenience factor and (more so) my propensity to grab anything I can that's free has been the major reasons I think I'm reading a bigger variety of works. Thanks to blogs like ILMK that point out a variety of interesting books (Bufo, I LOVE your Freebies alert - keep it up!) I've built-up quite an eclectic mix of material. My strategy is, I grab it while it's free and review it later. What ends-up happening is I find myself reading something I would have never thought of looking for.

blogs help me find wonderful new writers in all genres. i have a more eclectic taste than ever before. kindle has broaden my reading horizons.
