Each student is creating a glog for all the books that they read each nine weeks. They have to upload a picture of the book and create a hyperlink to a book review. We haven't done a lot of work using them because our computers at school have been hinky, and tech support is playing catch-up. We're going to develop a rubric, and I plan to use this as one type of assessment.
My students love Glogster. They'd become so complacent with PowerPoint... Glogster (among others) really put oomph & enthusiasm back into their projects. Plus, it helps eliminate that tendency to fill PowerPoint slides full of text and just read from them when presenting. I love that!
