Do you think it's bad to raise kids in a polygamous family?

The thought that these people can not give their kids enough one on one attention and therefor can not be good parents is ridiculous. These children all seem to be loved and paid attention to. They are not forced into polygamy and the parents want what all "normal" parents want - their kids to be happy and to be productive citizens. No one is being abused. Honestly, I am jealous of the sister wives. How wonderful to share the huge responsibility of raising a family with not only a man, but woman who I can trust and are my true sisters.

I almost joined into a polygamous marriage. I researched the possibilities before hand. This family would have been a very good environment for my sons. The women work together to make a happy functional home. The children always have parental figures around them, whether it is a biological mother or a sisterwife. The husband does not have to go out and play around on the wife because he has everything he needs right there. Two people taking care of family, home & career is overwhelming. It is great to spread the work out to multiple people. The term sisterwife explains that these women are related on so many levels.
