Thank you for the gift and the choice. I've been your loyal customer since 2007, my first hair purchase in SL was your Sour, in Black Punk. So, I'm not going anywhere now, whichever textures you choose. That said - I prefer the old ones.
The new textures are very nice, and they do have more detail - more shading, more 'lines' - but the wonderful silky quality of the old ones seems to be gone - and I loved it so much. I wear red, and the new seems more harsh to me - there are a lot of highlights but it no longer looks like a soft silky wave of healthy hair. I don't hate it, but I love old ones so much more. I see the poll is leaning to new - I better run and get a couple more styles before you switch!

Overall I like the new textures. They shadowing or whatever it's called for hair looks more realistic and adds more depth to each piece. I will say that I do not like all of the colors. If anyone cares I've listed what I like and don't like below. And, btw, thank you very much Hely for allowing me to try these out for you. I hope my 2 cents helps in some way. =)
Ash: I'm not too fond of the Ash color because to me it looks like black hair that hadn't been washed. I dunno, just not my taste.
Blonde: I like the blonde alot. Unlike some other places this blonde isn't brassy or orangy. I can't stand when they're more orange than yellow. It's a nice, light and bright blonde which I like alot.
Brown: I happen to really like the brown. It's a realistic color, almost matches my RL hair color. It's deep and rich but not overly dark. I liked it quite a bit.
Cherry: I'm a huge fan of red hair and this one is no exception. I absolutely love vibrant fire engine reds. Cherry is a spectacular shade, really stands out in a crowd.
Ivory: I'm neither impartial nor partial to Ivory, it's just another white hair I suppose.
Orange: Well the Orange isn't a fav but it is what it says it is; Orange.

I like the old textures and never would have complained if you had decided not to change them. That being said, I do think the new ones are an improvement, giving a better effect of highlights and lowlights in particular. I really do appreciate you reaching out for our opinion, but in this particular case, I'm going to continue buying your hairs no matter what, so choose the one that makes you happy! :D
I voted for either, I like them both but felt the need to elaborate just slightly. I do like the new textures but they seem to be a little sharper than your current ones and personally I prefer a softer look to hair. On that basis I prefer your existing textures however would most definitely continue to purchase Ploom hair if you did chose to make the switch. Thank you for the gift!

This is a lovely hair that I'd want to wear. The texture is excellent. My colour is brown and I'd just need a slightly richer shade.

the textures themselves are awesome. the colors however I personally dont like the cherry ivory or orange. Way too bright. The Ivory to me was so bright that you couldnt even see the texture definition that good even on windlight. Would like to see a darker black as well. Thanks for the free gift and for giving customers a voice.. You ROCK!

I like the rich color... the hair is stiff tho, a few flexi prims I would like to see in there so the hair doesn't look dead... still georgeus and Ill be wearing the hairstyle for sure

I like the new textures, as was said, they are more highlighted and it definitely stands out more it also appears like the hair has more volume so yes, it is a good thing. that style in particular isn't for me but overall it is a good project
I like them all except for the blonde. It just did not seem defined enough as if it were not totally rezzed of in focus :)

The Detail on the new textures is incredible. I think for the test though a duo color would have given us a little more to look at and see how a blend would look.
But your transactions log will show I'm good either way. ;) If you continue with the old I'll be buying. If you use the new I'll still be buying. The biggest part to my purchase of your hair is the pure creative styles you have.

Cherry and Orange looks unnatural, bu then again - some people wants to achieve that look. I liked Brown, Blonde and Ivory the most - Ash is a bit too greyish for me :)
Also, I think the textures looked very harsh and a bit unnatural no matter what color BUT that can be the hairstyle actually so... And after all I liked the detailed texture :)

First of all, thanks for the gift. Second... I voted twice LOL First, to keep them both, and then against the change. There was something odd and then I realized that it was lag - it took a bit longer to fully rezz the textures. So, once i actually could see the texture in its full... amazingness (LOL) I really liked them - just the red is a bit too red, like it has been already said, but the blonde and orange were great, and i particularly LOVED the brown one. 1So I'll stick with both old and new textures. Thanks for your effort on making your hair even better, they look great ^^

BUT... i mostly buy black or brown hair so i have to say i think the ash black is a bit to dark when i look at the back it isnt but the front does look way to dark for my feeling... but again i love them and i loved the older ones too...

Basically, the new textures look great. I especially liked the Ash, Ivory, Blond and Brown. I'd Say go go go!
The Cherry and Orange have a nice glow to them but do look very unnatural. The orange isn't even really orange but more a rich warm yellow.
I am loving the new textures, they are much more realistic and have a lot of detail to them. I am a redhead in SL and I am loving the orange and red texture, they aren't as smooth which makes them feel more real! :D

New ones are better in highlites, but i think the lines shouldnt be so straight. Maybe its just the sculpt shape becoz the front part i like a lot but the back is a bit unnatural for me. The other thing is, some little-flexy cover hair for the sculpts to hide when i stab myself with the hair :)

I was stoked when the ploom box popped up on my screen. I'm so very addicted to your hari, Helyanwe. No joke. I still buy your items online, because you can't find too many wild/quality styles out there; without them looking really primmy. I think yours hit the mark, standing a fierce FIRST PLACE, against hair like Red Queen; in my opinion.
Since my skin doesn't come with one, I have to pull one out of my inventory. Its a hassle when that happens, because then you can wear that certain makeup or teeth tat you wanted. My favorite part about the Silen hair style is that I don't have to wear a base. With your hair, it's so well done that even after editing and placement, I still can't see scalp. So, thank you for that! n_n
The new textures are gorgeous. It's true that it does add a richer color to them, as the other girl's have said. And it looks like you put a lot of effort into the new line, which is amazing! But, I'm not gonna lie, I was part of the 35 votes that make up that 33.02% who say keep them both.
