the high speed rail is like buying a horse its great when you first get it until the bills arrive for vet bills and operational cost appear. As a taxpayer I dread the day Government want to increase our property taxes or other taxes to support the high speed rail. Look at Amtrak rail and its track record on self staining. If high speed rail will the federal government continue to fund operation and maintenance (I don't think so) . Do not sign on to something that will cost us in the future I am already strape for cash.
