I've been in Dallas for a year and even the new black girlfriends I've met up here agree, black men don't approach women so if you're woman that's a little more traditional then I'd check out another city...

I've been here a few years and my impression is whilst Dallas is a nice city and easy to live, it lacks the variety and vibe of of major cities such NY, San Francisco, London etc.... This extends to men as well. I've met some nice fellows here but there is somthing lacking. Perhaps it's based on the kinds of men I'm more accustomed to meeting. I find many of the guys here a bit showy and about materialism. It reminds me a bit of LA in that sense which isn't my scene at all. Dallas guys just don't have the bit of an edge like NY, London or Chicago guys. Again, depends on what you're looking for.

    Hope that helps

Dallas probably is a good place to date, but not for women that are leading life as a Christian. There are many beautiful black men and women here in Dallas, but men don't approach women. As a beautiful, confident, intelligent, and employed woman, I find it strange that I've been in Dallas nearly 2 years without one single date. I'm sure it doesnt help that I don't "club", drink , or do any drugs. I'm modest, but I know that I'm a catch. Where can a woman like me, find a nice guy in Dallas?

The black men in dallas are in two distinct groups... those that dont have and try to get from women, and those that have that share with non black women...lol The few that may possibly fall in between are taken, so I dont know what to tell ya. None of my friends are married and we've all been here over 8 yrs...womp womp
