It depends on what type of brotha your looking for. I live in NYC and believe me, it is not a good place to meet a good quality eligible black brotha. If you are looking for the dope boy type that been locked up most of his life, then yes, NYC is a great place to date men. I've noticed that many NYC black men are ghetto, high school drop outs and unclassy. Especially in the cities that were mentioned. Harlem and Brooklyn have the most thugged out dudes and that is not my type. You may find a decent brotha in Queens, Long Island or Westchester County but good luck. If you are looking for a college educated, middle to upper class, professional man, then take the 4 hour drive to the DC, Maryland and Virginia area and hang out at Howard Univ too.
