Not your child, not your problem. Publicity articles for selling magazines & making money. If it was not a celebrity child who would really care !!! She will not be drinking bottles in school, taking then to college & it definitely will not affect her IQ. She finds it soothing, comforting & calming. Bottles, Blankets, Sucking Thumbs ~ Nothing harmful here... In my opinion. The other peave I have is Potty Training. No bottle after 1 years to 18 months & out of diapers by 2 or 2 1/2.. Take a poll on that one. What's the big deal ? Bottles, potty training, sucking thumbs longer then the Professionals Recommend, does not make for injuring a child emotionally, psychologically or strengthen or weaken their math skills. Seriously..
Now lets talk about how Celebrity Dad's Drugs Escapes, Charlie Shees perhaps.. Let's give him a Bottle !!!!!! Now that's a topic worth putting into print, sharing how damaging this is to a child's development..

Bottles were designed for babies that do not have the ability to drink from a cup. And if the child is old enough to drink from a cup, then put their milk in a cup.

It is absurd to think it is nessecary to take the bottle away from this child. If the child finds security in using the bottel then so be it. People are to obsessed with what they think is wrong and having the bottle as long as a child wants has no reflection of haw a child will turn out. For instance my mother had this philosophy and all three of her children have college educations, my sister took the bottle until she was 6, graduated from OSU with a 3.9 GPA and I took the bottle until I was 5 and I am currently working on my PhD and have a 3.80 GPA. We both married with children. So again I will utter a phrase stated by my mother, don't worry about my child, that is my job. Besides when they are 18 they will be potty trained, off the bottle, and be able to function in society as well as anyone else.... Guess mom was right.
