I love me some Casey Abrams but I am a bit worried about this whole growltastic-must-not-veer-from-growl-ego thing he has going. I was those soft haunting notes! I want his fingers wrapped around the stem of a stand up bass! I want him to not growl for one song and show us that big squishy softie heart of his! He's always hugging everyone, you just KNOW he's got some sweet soft song he could bust out! We will love him all the more for being as unpredictable as he was in Hollywood!
Motown week was crazy tight. I think I can see a bottom 2, but the third spot is a bit of a question mark. And James Durbin! I'm startled to find Jimmy frontrunner, but week after week he's leaving me genuinely excited. I groove to many of this year's performers, but James is the guy that has me up and on my feet. What a surprise! :)
