What do you think of state legislature working to UNDO the 2009 vote that promoted renewable energy sources, as well as their working to push nuclear power?

I find it sad that so many good people are being, or have been, taught to believe that nuclear energy is somehow evil, dangerous and expensive by the official national "news" media and their local helpers. It is, of course, expensive. How could it not be after being blanketed with legal roadblocks by that rogue agency, the EPA? To call it inherently expensive is rubbish. As the Left manages never to admit, our nuke technology now safely supplies most of Europe with its energy. Russian bumbling aside, safety is not an issue, despite all the daily propaganda headlines about Japan - in Chicago politics "never let a crisis go to waste" style. Boy, we sure saw that one coming. How many of the 10,000 dead and 20,000 and 16,000 missing in Japan are due to the nuke plants there? Zero. Historically, the death toll from 3-Mile Island was less than that of Chappaquiddic. To quote a Steven Foster favorite, "my heart grows weary" watching America mindlessly commit suicide in so many ways.
