Sergio is right-- it was all about showmanship in Kelly's Stuff Like That There. Obviously, STLT is not the exciting song that "A Natural Woman" is, but its beauty in the performance is that it was astounding despite any of the traditional Idol gimmicks-- the slow build to the glory note, rearranging the song, going acapella. Kelly's playfulness is an example of how all Idol contestants should hope to be as performers.

They were both amazing. But Stuff Like That There was super amazing. It wasn't just about the range, but the showmanship.
