Do we deserve to see photos of Bin Laden's dead body?

Obama announced that the world's most wanted terrorist had been killed by US Navy Seals. Does not the entire world deserve to see living proof (reguardless of how gruesome the pictures may be)? Many nations and many Americans do not trust Obama's word, as it would not be the first time he has been deceitful or lied. Or, presumably Obama is typically milking it for all the publilcity he can garnish.

Wake up people. We "do not" need to see the pictures. We as a society think we are entitled to see whatever we want. I understand about the 1st Admentment and all that but I can not justify "one life" being lost just to satisfy some morbid curiosity. Does any body understand the potential of life's being lost here or abroad. Does anyone really want the potential of another 911 on any scale.
The other thing that bothers me is the argurment is well we have shown pictures in the last administration under Bush. The point is that "ITS A DIFFERANT ADMISTRATION". We have learned from our History. We dont have do the same mistakes as the past. That decision had caused lives lost. People critcize Oboma for what he does and doesnt do and throw that one liner around about "CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN" guess what this is a change I can BELIEVE IN.
I want to express my graditude to all military divission and intellegence. Navy Seals you rock. For those that want to see the Navy Seals in the spot light and want interviews and first hand accounts it will never happen. They have to be kept out of the spot light for their safty and their families safty. It could and would compromise any and all future missions to fight for this country. The people that want first hand accounts this is not about you, its about the safety of our Country. Please do some research in why we have these practice before acting like a 5yr old and saying but I want it. Sorry to inform you but this is a bigger picture issue then you as an individual.

Displaying the disfigured head of OBL would be of little value and would be akin to dragging American bodies thru the streets of foreign countries. We are better than that!! I trust Seal Team 6 did what has been reported....and love them for it!! Let us not forget OBL but don't allow his death to continually be a source of healine coverage.

Friends and foe of bin Laden are familiar with his usual appearance alive. The hatred and discontent toward the life and death of bin Laden will more quickly subside if friends or foe remembers only the bin Laden as last seen alive.

Controversy and Questions will surround this event. Even a photo release will not do. An important event needs to be substantiated and documented. Dozens of eyewitness accounts need to be released. Yes, with names and voices and testimonials. Eyewitnesses may fear reprisals. As with the photo, fear trumps truth and reality. Fear wins again.

the seals are americas best trained soldier in the world. seals are given the most extensive training and discipline. i trust a seal will always watch my back, as well as his fellow seals. Enough. a job well done. case closed.

Release of the picture will just add to the contradictions and spin coming out of the White House and those who purportedly watched the raid. Wonder why nobody's interviewed (or been allowed to interview) any of the SEAL team members to get their version of the raid.

I don't think there is any need to rub this in anyone's face. We did what we needed to do, justice has been done. Nothing to gloat over or make into a big deal. The world gets it.

It makes absolutely no difference to me if photographic evidence is released....Unless one has been living in a vacuum,*any* photo evidence can be created, enhanced , modified or whatever, and ya know it...

But, bin Laden better really be dead, or the fecal matter will hit the fan for Obama, and he will be toast in 2o12....

For now, I trust the honor of the Seals involved, that it is truly the case...

In a way, this is not an end, but another beginning, in the War on Terror....

Or, as I posted on FB...."And, another one bites the dust"....

Posting a picture on tv would only cause more turmoil and add to the possibility of retaliation. It would just stir negative reactions.
