I voted "other." My "other" response was "No one else would lose their child over this b.s...so why should he? Ridiculous!" If CPS is seriously trying to take Leah away because Gary was driving on a suspended license, common sense tells me that there must be more than meets the eye...there must be a lot more going on with their family than what has been made public. If that's not the case and they're making a such a big thing out of driving on a suspended license, there really needs to be some type of investigation in to the people handling their case. I have NEVER heard of someone losing their child(ren) over something so trivial. If I'm not mistaken, his license was suspended over an un-payed ticked...in no way does that make someone an unfit parent. Maybe they chose to feed, clothe and house their child instead of paying the ticket right away. It just sounds absolutely insane, as if someone at CPS has it out for them, because of their own belief that Gary and Amber are unfit and are looking for anything that they can possibly use against them.
I really hope that this doesn't happen, for Leah's sake. That little girl obviously loves her Daddy...removing her from her home, especially over this b.s., just isn't fair to her.

If he was driving impaired then I would say ya thats the last draw , but a suspended licence is not a criminal offence. It is a Traffic Violation that usually you don't do jail time for. I don't think that is a good enough reason to have a child taken away from a parent.

I know it dont make what he did was right, but he is a good father, people make mistakes, but takeing away his daugher, is a far to big of a punishment. Keep strong Gery.

you have to put your kids first and foremost we adopted our daughter. so we told ourselves in doing so we have to give this child the best life she deserves. not nesesarily a monatary thing but a lot of love and affection. this also means putting her first. and of course her wants and needs come above our. having a child is a gift and a pleasure. u cant look at it like a job. because lets face it most people hate their job. but what im trying to get at is i dont know what kind of parent gary is but if he truly loves his daughter and does put her first good for him.it is tough to raise a child and things happen like loosing your license, but come on is he out there smoking crack, or shooting heroin while his daughter plays in her crap. no getting arrested for something as petty as that come on get real. i once called cps on a girl in marion indiana not to far from anderson she beat her kids, there was proof but cps said they could do nothing come on go out and get the real destuctive parents. and leave the one's that r trying alone. gary if your getting this and u need someone to talk to someone to listen or some kind of support team get ahold of me we'll talk brother. it is tough sometimes and dont listen to all the negativity brother all that matters is you ur baby girl and your love for her. keep ur head up brother
