After he quit the Patrick team he came back to race in Indy again. If my memories serves me right he came in 6th in an older Indy Car and got almost more attention than the winner. Also did you know his mother beloved mother passed away while he was at the victory banquet in 1982? He flew home that night in the night to see her and then flew back for the banquet.
