Although we could think/hope that lessons from the past conflicts, the desire to build a so-called "better place" or even the Faith (whatever it is) would lead to peace; we are humans and as humans we cannot live without creating conflicts. Beyond this macabre instinct, money also establishes rules.
Consequently either peace-promoting media or entertainment will not make us civil with each other and will not prevent conflicts. I am deeply (and more and more) convinced that people are touched by ad & marketing: this is THE langage we all understand and THE signal we all respond to. Social marketing directly related to prevent conflict or dealing with current conflict situations, would make more sense for people who realize that they are actors. It may be more complex and less convenient but everyone has the power of choice and such social marketing can be the mean to make a difference.
