I am conversant with HTML or rather the old HTML. :) I will say this, the new font is terrible for reading codes. I am also visually impaired and find this font style to be very light and flimsy; in other words, it is not very readable. I would prefer to use a heavy san font style when reading on a screen.
Strange things have been happening since the change. One example, when I am using the editor, the print is so small it is difficult to read. No matter what I do, unless I want to change to a header font, I cannot change it. Then my cursor wants to take off backwards on its own once I backspace. Both of these problems are annoying and counter-productive. This does not happen in any other processing program ... just in the WordPress editor.
Maybe ne3ither program is related, but it is still a mystery.
