Why has the Guardian ignored the story about West Dunbartonshire's boycott of Israeli goods?

Thanks Pam! It can be tiring sometimes to write to these petty low level politicians -- and Meester Bollan, is the lowest of the low that the fine country of Scotland has to offer -- and I've bicycled through Glasgow and have never had a warmer reception from store owners and Bed & Breakfast owners especially when compared to the, ahem, lower parts of that island. But that was 25 years ago and I wonder if I'd feel the need to hide my Jewish identity there now (Scotland, read: tourism sinks even by non-Jews when they think that they'll be staying among "haters" and especially in Europe, no-one has an excuse to be so openly Jew-hating until, hey, how about we agree on at least 100 years after the Holocaust -- it's coming soon, so just bottle it up and wait until then if you want your tourism levels to stay up)

I just want to say that I've had a long (and fast, as he replies within 6 minutes of me writing) correspondence with Bollan and he is absolutely incredible - there are no words to describe his views and attitude.
What troubles me deeply is that he's still in office. How are the people of his constituency and the wider population in Scotland allowing this?
