At first I didn't see that Jlo was the problem - sure noticed Randy's Rant's and wondered what his problem with Haley was all about
Tho really the only one that was not onboard with 'getting rid of' Haley was Steven Tyler
The biggest one that was like WOW! was Jlo's back stabbing dig at haley after Her 'Peice of my Heart" performance "yur are going to be in this .... for like a minute
Now that we KNOW that TPTB wanted The "Tweeny Twanger Twin's Country Final" and that was the reason for the Haley Sabatage -their pick "U Aughta Know" for Haley couldn't have been any MORE blatent

perfect observation of Jlo. YThe only thing i don't know was if the taped episode critiques overplayed how inciteful she was with the contestants and the live shows proved that to be a lie.
There is a definite line in the sand where she went from real critique to being a mouthpiece!! Maybe thats why she doesn't want to comeback?? She doesn't like to be manipulated which is obvious to anyone who watched her undertoned but definately intential attacks on Haley. It could just be that however succesful she is and by god is she, she knows she's not in the same stratosphere when it comes to musical talent as Haley and this causes her to be over-critical.

She got what she wanted out of the show. Time to move on, both for her benefit and the show's.
I still love the idea of three new judges each season. It would be fresh. It would be interesting finding what kind of judges they turn out to be. If they knew they were only sticking around for one season, then there'd be no $$$$$ incentive for taking Nigel's "direction" .... they'd be more likely to be true to themselves. It'd be fun watching the dynamics between new judges. There'd bound to be more opportunity for drama (the good kind) with judges knowing they're only around for one season. I believe it'd really up the ante for all concerned.
I'd really love to see all 3 judges from last season gone. I've had enough of "When I worked with so & so" Randy and "in it to win it". Ten seasons is enough already. And much as I love some of the wacko things Steven says, he did nothing to help the contestants - no critiquing to speak of. They were all "beautiful".
Gotta go. All 3 of 'em. PLEASEEEEEEEEE (Can we get rid of Uncle Nigel, too?) (Welcome to Fantasy Island...)

JLo accomplished what she wanted on her one season. It was not about helping the contestants on the show. It was about promoting herself and to jump start her career. Not to mention collecting a cool 9 million.
