As far as text-to-speech on the Kindle goes

I find it creepy/irritating

I tried it, but found it too hard to understand

I didn't like it at first, but I do now

I use it sometimes

I use it a lot

I'd like it better if it had an accent like mine

I'd like it better if it had a voice for a different language

I'd pay for more/different voice options

Whether text-to-speech is blocked or not affects whether or not I buy a book

Availability of text-to-speech would affect my choice of EBR

Having TTS is nice, but sometimes it will mispronounce words beyond recognition. It would also be nice to have a greater choice of voices.

I especially like TTS when I'm on the treadmill because it turns the pages for me.
