As a US citizen, I have rights - the right to vote, freedom of speech etc. Why is it that in this democratic nation that I am not permitted to marry my same-sex partner? I pay my taxes and live my life as a law-abiding Floridian. Please help in lobbying for gay rights. It's 2011 and time for everyone to be treated equally! Say yes and show your support for gay marriage in the US!
