I understand why so many viewers are upset with Nicole. Many say that Nicole is not the blame for Rachel's leaving but, she is. It is my opinion that Nicole did not fairly judge the final performance between Rachel and Marcus because it was a matter of choosing between mediocre (Marcus) and exceptional (Rachel). The public voted on the performance the night before, not the "Sing for Your Life Performance" the other night. Also, Marcus has been at the bottom three times and it was Rachel's first. Like a few of the responders have already mention, it has been noticable that Nicole has a big dislike for Simon because he critically tells her the truth and she doesn't like it. She has been extremely critical of Simon's girls for this reason. Therefore, the dislike for Nicole is called for because she focused more on her personally feelings for Simon (hating to admit Rachel was the TRUE winner) instead of making a professionally judgment. For this reason, she does not deserve to serve as a judge next season.

In my opinion Rachel is not to young, there are a lot of young singers and actors she is 14 for goodness sake...Rachel will go on and be a BIG time star probably singing and being an actor, she is a GREAT role model for the younger children out, I wouldn't mind mine looking up to her...Nicole is supposed to be a judge if one of the contestants does better than the other then they should be sent home, so I say that Nicole is to blame...

I didn't want Rachel to get eliminated, but Nicole didn't know it would be Rachel going home. She just didn't know what to do because she didn't want to send anyone home. Rachel probably would have gone home sooner or later anyway because she is so young. It isn't Nicole's fault. I hope the people that didn't vote for her aren't complaining because you are the ones to blame for her going home.

I'm tired of people comparing the time Simon send the vote to deadlock (Marcus and Leroy) to Nicole sending it to deadlock. Marcus and Leroy were much more comparable talent with neither having all outstanding performances. Rachel, on the other hand, had shown far more talent on a consistent basis. Even L.A. recognized this with his comments and admitted his vote for Marcus was on principle. I respect L.A. for that. Between Nicole avoiding her judging responsibilities and appearing to vote at times against Simon out of spite I am left feeling quite disgusted with her. I honestly hope she is not back on the show next year. Nicole should have been consoling Rachel rather than Rachel having to consol her.

Definitely cannot comprehend the hatred being displayed for Nicole. At the end of the day you all need to accept that Nicoles decision or not, she wasn't the one who sent rachel home. It ultimately came down to AMERICA. Consider this, if rachel had been given enough votes, by YOU (the public) then Nicoles decision to not vote and bring it down to deadlock (which I think considering the situation she was in, isn't all as bad as your making it out to be) then this result wouldn't have happened. So don't be blaming other people for your mistakes.
P.s I absolutely adore rachel and thought she and josh were going to be the final two. No matter what happens she'll make it anyway, good luck girl

Come on people grow up if you think Nicole S. is a bad person because she did what a lot of us would have done if we liked both contestants. Marcus has earned his place to where he is. This is how it is in the real world. As you can see, Rachel is too young and not seasoned enough for the big time. Think about it.

Nichole you are a judge, hired for the job to JUDGE. What you did to that child was nasty and you need to leave the show. If you can't do what you are paid to do then there is no reason for you to sit there and have all this drama. You just don't like Simon's girls so just go home.

Nicole, I hope you are reading this or perhaps your manager. The way I see it, you guys get paid well to be a professional judge. Clearly, Rachel Crow won the sing off, however, if the live audience was to vote for the best song sang that particular night I think it would be safe to say the audience would have chosen Rachel. The fact that America voted for the previous night was not fair, and you bein a professional judge, though one can never tell, but it should have given you, the professional a good idea that Rachel would have been voted off. I think you should be stronger and please don't try to make up for all of the disappointments that you had, cause even though you have a great sense of empathy, perhaps you should have looked at everyone who judged you, and been the professional to give the bad news to Marcus instead of passing the buck to America...how much do you get paid again for this GIG...waste of money...too bad American can't judge on the judges cause clearly you failed at this job...Clearly you failed Rachel....However, Rachel will continue to do well, she is clearly talented...but you are Beautiful, but a bit weak. I think Nicole voted that way because I don't think there is any way Nicole is going to vote for Simon's candidate. She appears to me to be very critical of Simon's girls and goes out of her way not to give him any credit. I think she really felt that Rachel should stay but just couldn't bring herself to vote for Simon's candidate and I think she probably thought Marcus would go home from America's vote because he's been down in the bottom so many times. Otherwise, why would she be so shocked that Rachel was the one going home. I do not think she should be a judge on this show because if you can't judge based on the performances, you shouldn't be there. She needs to go. And now she's lost all credibility so what good is she?
