I keep a shot chart by quarter for both teams. Also jot down notes about our offensive and defensive game trends, i.e., transition opportunities missed because guys were in the proper lanes, turnovers in transition, number of missed cut opportunities in our offensive sets. We have a problem with standing around in our motion offense so we really emphasize when we pass and stand versus pass and cut or screen.

As an assistant I keep a shot chart. On the side of the page I also keep track of time-outs, Foul shots, offensive rebounds, charges(us only), deflections(us only). And I note the time and score at every dead ball
