Enjoy your blog very much. I receive it on pulse and my kindle 2

Judy, thanks for sharing that! I'm with you...an external keyboard would be a huge help. That would probably mean I would stop using a netbook we have.

Thanks for writing, Larry! I'm glad you like Pulse...it's one of my favorite things about the Fire. :) Maybe I'll take a look at that book. I know from personal experience that the information being out there doesn't mean that the majority of people find it. :)

The only reason I use my Kindle Fire for fun only is that I am an old lady living in assisted living and don't do any work! My Fire has created a lovely media/entertainment center right here in my tiny apartment. I read books, listen to music, watch movies and videos, read blogs, newspapers, and magazines, shop on line, browse the web, read/edit/delete e-mail (I leave messages requiring answers to manage on my desktop), keep my calendar ... and will soon transfer my address/phone book to a document to import on Fire.

If I could add a portable keyboard to my Fire, I would no longer need a separate computer!

I use my Fire 100% for reading and recreation, and never for any type of work. And, because of you, I discovered Pulse, and all its possibilities, I now get most of my news and more from my Fire. I doubt that many (or most) Fire users understand how to use Pulse, how much is available, and how easy it is to add sites of one's own special interests to Pulse.

I just bought a new book "KINDLE FIRE TIPS AND TRICKS" by Tim Wishers. It is fantastic! It's no basic manual, it has the most complete set of tips and "how to do things" I've seen. And the tips aren't obscure, but simple things that every Fire User needs. Everyone should know about this extremely helpful tool. Most of the questions being asked in forums and elsewhere are answered in a very simple way.
