I cannot blame some people from the outside for being concerned about the syrians & their welfare. But if you were a syrian inside Syria you would know full well that the enemy is not Assad but the Free Syrian Army. All those who support these criminals will suffer the same fate as those who sold themselves out to the Rats of the NTC. I have been watching closely videos & evidence of mass killings by these supposed liberators who had the full support of NATO. The black African migrants who were given refuge, jobs & shelter by Qaddafi are now subject to torture, beatings & rape, many imprisoned & unable to defend themselves. Hell has been visitied upon the Libyans. The media are controlled by the very same interests who wish to see Syria fall, so they use propaganda just as the Nazis did to dehumanise & demonize the enemy, in this case BASHAR & his troops. These people are fighting for their lives & it is beyond immoral that men & women collude with these criminals & make such atrocities possible. 'those who believe absurdities can commit atrocities' Voltaire. If you want facts talk to the many educated syrians on the streets, a broad cross section of people & you will find they are under siege & need our help to disseminate the truth. I have documentation of the free syrian army faking videos of beatings, etc in fact we have loads of evidence, it just doesnt make it into the mainstream, just as the video evidence of 2million libyans in support of qaddafi didnt. On the say so of an Al Jazeera reporter NATO invaded Libya & killed over 100,000 people, there has been a total media blackout of this info. When British journalists for peace entered libya after nato invasion, they could not find a single person to corroborate al jazeera story, instead account after account surfaced of dead children as a result of nato bombing & so the deaths & torture continue. Thanks NATO! Those who support invasion of Libya by NATO will be getting a financial reward just as those who betrayed libyans did, but the ramifications for syrians, the real people who dont seem to have a voice in the mainstream, will suffer immeasurably. أخواني الثوار السوريين الأحرار. يبدو من مجرى الأحداث أن الطاغية بشار وزبانيته لن يستسلموا بسهولة كما فعل القذافي من قبل، وكما رأيتم فإن ثورة الشعب الليبي كانت سلمية في البداية ، لكن بعد أن أعمل القذافي السيف في رقابهم وأكثر في الناس القتل حملوا السلاح ورفعوا راية الجهاد ضد هذا الطاغية ورأيتم نتيجة الثورة ؛ سقط نظام القذافي وانتصر شعب ليبيا المجاهد، ورأيتم نهاية الجرذ، ولذلك فإن من الحكمة البالغة أن نتبع خُطا إخواننا في ليبيا والله معنا وهو ناصرنا: ( أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيرٌ *الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِن دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ إِلاَّ أَن يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ). إن الله معنا ولن يخذلنا فممّ نحن خائفون؟!!!
لا سلمية بعد اليوم، لقد طفح الكيل . لقد قُتل منا حتى يومنا هذا أكثر من عشرين ألف و آلاف الجرحى وعشرات الآلاف من المعتقلين والإحصائيات الرسمية كاذبة بأن عدد القتلى حوالي 7000 . لقد طفح الكيل وسالت دماء أبنائنا وإخواننا وأهلينا أنهاراً ولا مجيب لمن تنادي ... لا المجتمع الدولي ولا المنظمات الدولية ستحرّرنا من هذا الطاغية ، ومثلما رأينا فإن مجلس الأمن حتى لا يمكنه مساعدتنا. إن لم نستأصله بأيدينا فأنهار دمائنا لن تكف عن الجريان ، وأعراض نسائنا لن تتوقف عن الانتهاك . الجهاد ضد مثل هؤلاء الطغاة ليس إرهاباً ولا عدواناً وإنما عزة وكرامة وشرف لنا .
بعد الفيتو الروسي- الصيني أخذ النظام الضوء الأخضر لبدء حملة إبادة شاملة ضد هذا الشعب المجاهد. الحملة بدأت في حمص المجاهدة ولا تزال حمامات الدماء جارية إلى هذه اللحظة منذ حوالي عشرة أيام، ولو بقينا جالسين في بيوتنا فحملة الإبادة ستصلنا، وعندئذ لن ينصرنا الله سبحانه وذلك لتخاذلنا في نصرة إخواننا الذين يُذبَحون بالمئات يومياً، وتهدم صواريخ وقذائف النظام الماجن الحقير البيوت على رؤوس قاطنيها من نساء وأطفال وشيوخ عُزّل لا حول لهم ولا قوة.
أليس فينا من الإيمان ما يكفي أن نخرج للجهاد في سبيل الله، وننفض عن أنفسنا ذلّ القعود. والله سيحاسبنا الله سبحانه على تخاذلنا وسنرى الخزي في الدنيا والعذاب العظيم يوم القيامة لو بقينا جالسين في بيوتنا نكتفي بمظاهرات سلمية لا تُشبع ولا تُغني من جوع.
الانضمام للجيش السوري الحر لا يجب أن يكون فقط من العسكريين المنشقين عن الجيش ولكن العبء الأكبر علينا نحن المدنيين، الجهاد في وضعنا هذا فرض عين على كل مسلم، والذي يريد التأكد من الناحية الشرعية فلينظر في أسباب وأدلة فرضية الجهاد في المراجع الإسلامية، ولا يجب أخذ أذن الوالدين في هذه الحالة أو التذرع بأن لديه زوجة وأولاداً فهذا لا يعفيك من وزر التقاعس للجهاد في سبيل الله.
ندائي موجّه إلى كل مسلم على وجه الأرض وبالخصوص الشعب السوري المسلم : لو تمكنتم من معرفة طريق آمن للانضمام للجيش الحر فانضموا، ولو لم تكن في مناطقكم داخل سوريا كتائب للجيش الحر فقوموا بتشكيل كتائب آمنة وبسرّية تامّة، وحاولوا بأعظم قدرة لكم الاتصال بالجيش الحر لضمّكم فلا طريق لنا للجهاد في سبيل الله إلا طريق الجيش الحر، والواقع خلال الأشهر الماضية من الثورة أكبر دليل على ذلك.
ماذا حققت سلمية ثورتنا حتى الآن؟!!! لا شيء لا شيء لا شيء سوى استفراد النظام بنا واحدا تلو الآخر. ممّ نحن خائفون؟!!! إن الموت واحد فلنمت في سبيل الله شهداء خير لنا أن نموت في أسرّتنا كالجبناء. النظام باق حتى نـُمحيه من على وجه الخليقة ، ولن يُمحى النظام بثورتنا السلمية بل بوضع رصاصة في رأسه. المجتمع الدولي كاذب ومماطل ولن يقدّم لنا شيئاً ما لم نقدّم لأنفسنا أولاً. النظام يتهاوى وسقوطه أقرب مما نتصور إن شاء الله، فهُبّوا أسوداً في ساحات الوغى بئس القوم نحن إن لم نُجاهدُ.

Therefore make them your allies for they are the best of earth's warriors.
And avoid doing three things to them:
1. Harm not their women, for if you do, they'll feast upon you like lions feasting upon their preys.
2. Touch not their land, for if you do, the rocks of their mountains shall fight you.
3. Blaspheme not their religion, for if you do, they'll burn you lives.

تدخل الناتو في سوريا ليس بصالح الثورة السورية لأن مدة هذه الثورة على مدى طوله مفيد لهذه الثورة لأنها تكشف السياسات العالمية وأناس كنا نعتقد أنهم أناس وطنيين وكشفت الممانعة المزعومة، المهم أن المرحلة السلمية لهذه الثورة قد انتهى بعد تقديم مايفوق عن عشرة آلاف شهيد من المدنيين والعساكر المنشقين والعساكر الذين استشهدوا عند محاولتهم الإنشقاق، وبما أنه أصبح لدينا جيش منشق يمثل الجيش السوري الحقيقي والوطني والذي كان دوره حماية المدنيين أثناء المظاهرات وتأمين الانشقاقات وضرب الحواجز، أما الآن فقد بدأ الحراك الثوري الحقيقي الذي مضمونه محاربة النظام الأسدي باعتباره نظام إحتلال كالإحتلال الصهيوني، أما بالنسبة للمدنيين من عنده المقدرة على شراء السلاح التسلح لينضم إلى صفوف الجيش السوري الحر.
أما بالنسبة إلى طلبات تدخل الناتو فهي غير مجدية ولن تستجاب وإذا أستجيبت فسوف تكون لحماية ماتبقى من أركان النظام السوري وحزب البعث حامي حمى اسرائيل والممانع لحدودها.. دول حلف الناتو تدعم بشكل كامل بشار الأسد وراضية عن سياسة الإبادة التي يتبعها لكنها يمكن أن يضغط عليها من قبل المجتمع الدولي للتدخل لوقف الدم لكنهم سوف يزيدون الطين دما وليس ماءا، لا نعرف ماذا يمكن أن يقوموا به ولانعرف ما إذا كانوا يتتبعون عبر أقمارهم الاصطناعية مخابئ ومواقع الجيش الحر وأماكن تجمعهم ويقولون: استهدفناهم خطأ، نرجو المعذرة... لانعرف اذا ما خططو مثلا لقصف مبنى آمرية الطيران بقنابلهم "الذكية" ولن تحرق نصف منطقة المالكي وأبو رمانة وأهم مافيها ألا وهي المكتبة الوطنية (المكتبة المحتلة من قبل الإحتلال الأسدي) التي تحوي مخطوطات ووثائق حملت تاريخ سوريا العريق القديم الذي لاتشوبه شائبة بقذيفة ذكية أذهبت هذه الوثائق وماحملته غير مكترثة بهذه المخطوطات...
والسبب على قولهم: خطأ فني....
نكون بمجزرة حصيلتها 500 نصبح بمجزرة حصيلتها 5000 وماذا سيكون الرد؟ على قولهم: نيران صديقة...
كما أن الحل العسكري بشكله الشمولي كما حصل في ليبيا لا يصحح أخطاء مرتكبة في الماضي بحق الأناس ولايحل هذه الأخطاء إلا المحاكمات وليس القصف..
أرجو من جميع الشباب المصوتين أن يرفضوا هكذا مشروع لأننا بدأنا ثورتنا بأيدينا وسننهيها بأيدينا ولن نرضى أن يقوم أحد تخاذل على مدى سنة كاملة من الثورة السورية وأخيرا يشعر أنه ضيق عليه وقام بالتدخل حفظا لماء وجهه وقتل من قتل وفجر وهدم من هدم.

Syria. Outside intervention in Iraq and Libya did not / has not made the lives of the average Iraqi / Libyan better. Libya, read recent articles by the NYT. The arab spring in the end will be only a means for change in power from one small group to another small group in these countries, new group will not have desire to share power with the people
The fourth estate continues to fail to explain in depth who these various groups are and what their goals / plans are. And only after the fact re Libya starts to report on the problems with these various militias and their failings / atrocities
Syria. Who are these rebels, what are their goals, who is supporting them? What is their charter for a post Assad government? How would the present governments vast stocks of weapons be secured in the transition (I'm sure Libyan weapon stocks will end up being used against America and Israel, just as Iraqi weapon stocks have been). If armed by outside, how would these fighters be de armed in transition (pass out 500,000 assault rifles in any major American city and see what the results would be.....).
Respect of nations sovereignty. It is easy to be abhorred by actions of Assad's government. All governments, at all levels feel it is their right to defend themselves and maintain order (look at actions of NYPD against Occupy Wallstreet protestors). I can imagine what response of our local, state, federal government would be if a thousand armed people formed and started heading towards Washington.......

This is a horrible dilemma. The U.S. could possibly get itself into another situation not unlike Iraq if it intervenes. The country is land-locked, the rebels are scattered, the Syrian army is large and well-supplied. Not much hope of success. Russia wants to retain it's last ally from the cold war and doesn't want a precedent set for the UN interfering when civilians protest. And yet Assad is slaughtering people every day and won't stop until they run out of resources. I don't blame the Army. I lived briefly in a former communist country and you could still see the fear in people's eyes when it came to speaking freely. The terror dictators create is overwhelming. You do not want to be on the wrong side. I have to leave the decisions to others and pray to god they do what is best.

Yes absolutely, We the US should help. Nato should help. The whole world should come together and help the Syrian people. How can we sit idle and watch while all of this is going on? The Chines and the Russians are dictators themselves and would do the same thing that Assad is doing to his people and would not want the US or the world to intervene in their affairs while they will murder by the thousands as well.
I am not in Syria so I have no right to judge on that behalf. But on the other hand people are being killed by the hundred and the thousands for no cause other then the hope for peace, equality, freedom and Democracy. Children are shown daily being murdered and shot at. I support any community that stands against the oppression of any dictator. The world is majorly educated now and know better then to allow another tyrant to kill the people of the country that he rules. The Father in the Assad family sacrificed more then 100,000 and no one heard about it except the ones that lived there and in the neighboring countries. Just because there was no mass media like there is today. I support all Military actions against the heavy weapons, including tanks, artillery, bombers and Jets. A no fly zone and constant monitor of the country is essential. Drones and satellites have to maintain a constant watch to see whats clear.
In Gods will I wish all Syrians a life of democracy and hope of a better future. This has to stop immediately before more lives are taken in the wrong cause.

The intervention should only be for anti-tank aircraft to take out the tanks that are murdering people.
Anyone, who believes that Assad's regime could fall by civil demonstrations and political pressure, knows nothing about the Middle East. Without the creation of a no-fly zone in Syria and arming the opposition (as the first phase) nothing will change, except the rise in the death toll of innocent people.

The countries in that region, especially Turkey, should move in and create a safe zone. This can not be done by the west, it needs to be Islamic countries following the Koran and it's teaching against murder.

I cannot blame some people from the outside for being concerned about the syrians & their welfare. But if you were a syrian inside Syria you would know full well that the enemy is not Assad but the Free Syrian Army. All those who support these criminals will suffer the same fate as those who sold themselves out to the Rats of the NTC. I have been watching closely videos & evidence of mass killings by these supposed liberators who had the full support of NATO. The black African migrants who were given refuge, jobs & shelter by Qaddafi are now subject to torture, beatings & rape, many imprisoned & unable to defend themselves. Hell has been visitied upon the Libyans. The media are controlled by the very same interests who wish to see Syria fall, so they use propaganda just as the Nazis did to dehumanise & demonize the enemy, in this case BASHAR & his troops. When British journalists for peace entered libya after nato invasion, they could not find a single person to corroborate al jazeera story, instead account after account surfaced of dead children as a result of nato bombing & so the deaths & torture continue. Thanks NATO! Those who support invasion of Libya by NATO will be getting a financial reward just as those who betrayed libyans did, but the ramifications for syrians, the real people who dont seem to have a voice in the mainstream, will suffer immeasurably. أخواني الثوار السوريين الأحرار. يبدو من مجرى الأحداث أن الطاغية بشار وزبانيته لن يستسلموا بسهولة كما فعل القذافي من قبل، وكما رأيتم فإن ثورة الشعب الليبي كانت سلمية في البداية ، لكن بعد أن أعمل القذافي السيف في رقابهم وأكثر في الناس القتل حملوا السلاح ورفعوا راية الجهاد ضد هذا الطاغية ورأيتم نتيجة الثورة ؛ سقط نظام القذافي وانتصر شعب ليبيا المجاهد، ورأيتم نهاية الجرذ، ولذلك فإن من الحكمة البالغة أن نتبع خُطا إخواننا في ليبيا والله معنا وهو ناصرنا: ( أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيرٌ *الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِن دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ إِلاَّ أَن يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ). إن الله معنا ولن يخذلنا فممّ نحن خائفون؟!!!
لا سلمية بعد اليوم، لقد طفح الكيل . لقد قُتل منا حتى يومنا هذا أكثر من عشرين ألف و آلاف الجرحى وعشرات الآلاف من المعتقلين والإحصائيات الرسمية كاذبة بأن عدد القتلى حوالي 7000 . لقد طفح الكيل وسالت دماء أبنائنا وإخواننا وأهلينا أنهاراً ولا مجيب لمن تنادي ... لا المجتمع الدولي ولا المنظمات الدولية ستحرّرنا من هذا الطاغية ، ومثلما رأينا فإن مجلس الأمن حتى لا يمكنه مساعدتنا. إن لم نستأصله بأيدينا فأنهار دمائنا لن تكف عن الجريان ، وأعراض نسائنا لن تتوقف عن الانتهاك . الجهاد ضد مثل هؤلاء الطغاة ليس إرهاباً ولا عدواناً وإنما عزة وكرامة وشرف لنا .
بعد الفيتو الروسي- الصيني أخذ النظام الضوء الأخضر لبدء حملة إبادة شاملة ضد هذا الشعب المجاهد. الحملة بدأت في حمص المجاهدة ولا تزال حمامات الدماء جارية إلى هذه اللحظة منذ حوالي عشرة أيام، ولو بقينا جالسين في بيوتنا فحملة الإبادة ستصلنا، وعندئذ لن ينصرنا الله سبحانه وذلك لتخاذلنا في نصرة إخواننا الذين يُذبَحون بالمئات يومياً، وتهدم صواريخ وقذائف النظام الماجن الحقير البيوت على رؤوس قاطنيها من نساء وأطفال وشيوخ عُزّل لا حول لهم ولا قوة.
أليس فينا من الإيمان ما يكفي أن نخرج للجهاد في سبيل الله، وننفض عن أنفسنا ذلّ القعود. والله سيحاسبنا الله سبحانه على تخاذلنا وسنرى الخزي في الدنيا والعذاب العظيم يوم القيامة لو بقينا جالسين في بيوتنا نكتفي بمظاهرات سلمية لا تُشبع ولا تُغني من جوع.
الانضمام للجيش السوري الحر لا يجب أن يكون فقط من العسكريين المنشقين عن الجيش ولكن العبء الأكبر علينا نحن المدنيين، الجهاد في وضعنا هذا فرض عين على كل مسلم، والذي يريد التأكد من الناحية الشرعية فلينظر في أسباب وأدلة فرضية الجهاد في المراجع الإسلامية، ولا يجب أخذ أذن الوالدين في هذه الحالة أو التذرع بأن لديه زوجة وأولاداً فهذا لا يعفيك من وزر التقاعس للجهاد في سبيل الله.
ندائي موجّه إلى كل مسلم على وجه الأرض وبالخصوص الشعب السوري المسلم : لو تمكنتم من معرفة طريق آمن للانضمام للجيش الحر فانضموا، ولو لم تكن في مناطقكم داخل سوريا كتائب للجيش الحر فقوموا بتشكيل كتائب آمنة وبسرّية تامّة، وحاولوا بأعظم قدرة لكم الاتصال بالجيش الحر لضمّكم فلا طريق لنا للجهاد في سبيل الله إلا طريق الجيش الحر، والواقع خلال الأشهر الماضية من الثورة أكبر دليل على ذلك.
ماذا حققت سلمية ثورتنا حتى الآن؟!!! لا شيء لا شيء لا شيء سوى استفراد النظام بنا واحدا تلو الآخر. ممّ نحن خائفون؟!!! إن الموت واحد فلنمت في سبيل الله شهداء خير لنا أن نموت في أسرّتنا كالجبناء. النظام باق حتى نـُمحيه من على وجه الخليقة ، ولن يُمحى النظام بثورتنا السلمية بل بوضع رصاصة في رأسه. المجتمع الدولي كاذب ومماطل ولن يقدّم لنا شيئاً ما لم نقدّم لأنفسنا أولاً. النظام يتهاوى وسقوطه أقرب مما نتصور إن شاء الله، فهُبّوا أسوداً في ساحات الوغى بئس القوم نحن إن لم نُجاهدُ.

left him not but beheaded.
Therefore make them your allies for they are the best of earth's warriors.
And avoid doing three things to them:
1. Harm not their women, for if you do, they'll feast upon you like lions feasting upon their preys.
2. Touch not their land, for if you do, the rocks of their mountains shall fight you.
3. Blaspheme not their religion, for if you do, they'll burn you lives.
We know that we are orphans but.. We know that god is on our side and with our patience and faith to god we shall prevail..

تدخل الناتو في سوريا ليس بصالح الثورة السورية لأن مدة هذه الثورة على مدى طوله مفيد لهذه الثورة لأنها تكشف السياسات العالمية وأناس كنا نعتقد أنهم أناس وطنيين وكشفت الممانعة المزعومة، المهم أن المرحلة السلمية لهذه الثورة قد انتهى بعد تقديم مايفوق عن عشرة آلاف شهيد من المدنيين والعساكر المنشقين والعساكر الذين استشهدوا عند محاولتهم الإنشقاق، وبما أنه أصبح لدينا جيش منشق يمثل الجيش السوري الحقيقي والوطني والذي كان دوره حماية المدنيين أثناء المظاهرات وتأمين الانشقاقات وضرب الحواجز، أما الآن فقد بدأ الحراك الثوري الحقيقي الذي مضمونه محاربة النظام الأسدي باعتباره نظام إحتلال كالإحتلال الصهيوني، أما بالنسبة للمدنيين من عنده المقدرة على شراء السلاح التسلح لينضم إلى صفوف الجيش السوري الحر.
أما بالنسبة إلى طلبات تدخل الناتو فهي غير مجدية ولن تستجاب وإذا أستجيبت فسوف تكون لحماية ماتبقى من أركان النظام السوري وحزب البعث حامي حمى اسرائيل والممانع لحدودها.. دول حلف الناتو تدعم بشكل كامل بشار الأسد وراضية عن سياسة الإبادة التي يتبعها لكنها يمكن أن يضغط عليها من قبل المجتمع الدولي للتدخل لوقف الدم لكنهم سوف يزيدون الطين دما وليس ماءا، لا نعرف ماذا يمكن أن يقوموا به ولانعرف ما إذا كانوا يتتبعون عبر أقمارهم الاصطناعية مخابئ ومواقع الجيش الحر وأماكن تجمعهم ويقولون: استهدفناهم خطأ، نرجو المعذرة... لانعرف اذا ما خططو مثلا لقصف مبنى آمرية الطيران بقنابلهم "الذكية" ولن تحرق نصف منطقة المالكي وأبو رمانة وأهم مافيها ألا وهي المكتبة الوطنية (المكتبة المحتلة من قبل الإحتلال الأسدي) التي تحوي مخطوطات ووثائق حملت تاريخ سوريا العريق القديم الذي لاتشوبه شائبة بقذيفة ذكية أذهبت هذه الوثائق وماحملته غير مكترثة بهذه المخطوطات...
والسبب على قولهم: خطأ فني....
نكون بمجزرة حصيلتها 500 نصبح بمجزرة حصيلتها 5000 وماذا سيكون الرد؟ على قولهم: نيران صديقة...
كما أن الحل العسكري بشكله الشمولي كما حصل في ليبيا لا يصحح أخطاء مرتكبة في الماضي بحق الأناس ولايحل هذه الأخطاء إلا المحاكمات وليس القصف..
أرجو من جميع الشباب المصوتين أن يرفضوا هكذا مشروع لأننا بدأنا ثورتنا بأيدينا وسننهيها بأيدينا ولن نرضى أن يقوم أحد تخاذل على مدى سنة كاملة من الثورة السورية وأخيرا يشعر أنه ضيق عليه وقام بالتدخل حفظا لماء وجهه وقتل من قتل وفجر وهدم من هدم.

I believe we should stop sticking our noses in others internal affairs and to leave it to the Syrians to solve their internal problems.
Syria. Outside intervention in Iraq and Libya did not / has not made the lives of the average Iraqi / Libyan better. Libya, read recent articles by the NYT. The arab spring in the end will be only a means for change in power from one small group to another small group in these countries, new group will not have desire to share power with the people
The fourth estate continues to fail to explain in depth who these various groups are and what their goals / plans are. And only after the fact re Libya starts to report on the problems with these various militias and their failings / atrocities
Syria. Who are these rebels, what are their goals, who is supporting them? What is their charter for a post Assad government? How would the present governments vast stocks of weapons be secured in the transition (I'm sure Libyan weapon stocks will end up being used against America and Israel, just as Iraqi weapon stocks have been). If armed by outside, how would these fighters be de armed in transition (pass out 500,000 assault rifles in any major American city and see what the results would be.....).
Respect of nations sovereignty. It is easy to be abhorred by actions of Assad's government. All governments, at all levels feel it is their right to defend themselves and maintain order (look at actions of NYPD against Occupy Wallstreet protestors). I can imagine what response of our local, state, federal government would be if a thousand armed people formed and started heading towards Washington.......
This is a horrible dilemma. The U.S. could possibly get itself into another situation not unlike Iraq if it intervenes. The country is land-locked, the rebels are scattered, the Syrian army is large and well-supplied. Not much hope of success. Russia wants to retain it's last ally from the cold war and doesn't want a precedent set for the UN interfering when civilians protest. And yet Assad is slaughtering people every day and won't stop until they run out of resources. I don't blame the Army. I lived briefly in a former communist country and you could still see the fear in people's eyes when it came to speaking freely. The terror dictators create is overwhelming. You do not want to be on the wrong side. I have to leave the decisions to others and pray to god they do what is best.

Yes absolutely, We the US should help. Nato should help. The whole world should come together and help the Syrian people. How can we sit idle and watch while all of this is going on? The Chines and the Russians are dictators themselves and would do the same thing that Assad is doing to his people and would not want the US or the world to intervene in their affairs while they will murder by the thousands as well.
I am not in Syria so I have no right to judge on that behalf. But on the other hand people are being killed by the hundred and the thousands for no cause other then the hope for peace, equality, freedom and Democracy. Children are shown daily being murdered and shot at. I support any community that stands against the oppression of any dictator. The world is majorly educated now and know better then to allow another tyrant to kill the people of the country that he rules. The Father in the Assad family sacrificed more then 100,000 and no one heard about it except the ones that lived there and in the neighboring countries. Just because there was no mass media like there is today. I support all Military actions against the heavy weapons, including tanks, artillery, bombers and Jets. A no fly zone and constant monitor of the country is essential. Drones and satellites have to maintain a constant watch to see whats clear.
In Gods will I wish all Syrians a life of democracy and hope of a better future. This has to stop immediately before more lives are taken in the wrong cause.
The intervention should only be for anti-tank aircraft to take out the tanks that are murdering people.
Anyone, who believes that Assad's regime could fall by civil demonstrations and political pressure, knows nothing about the Middle East. Without the creation of a no-fly zone in Syria and arming the opposition (as the first phase) nothing will change, except the rise in the death toll of innocent people.
The countries in that region, especially Turkey, should move in and create a safe zone. This can not be done by the west, it needs to be Islamic countries following the Koran and it's teaching against murder.
