As far as a tourney run goes I think that in 2009 when MSU beat defending national champion Kansas, then #1 overall seed Louisville, and then another #1 seed Connecticut in succession was the most impressive coaching stretch.

I know there were tough circumstances coming into the season this year but I don't think you can rank it #1 unless it ends with cutting down the nets in April.

2) 2000 (title year, won big with talent)
3) 2009 (a lot like this year, relied on a lot of young guys to step up and they did).
4) 2007 (with that talent, we had no business making the tourney).
