Definitely "All about Eve". It's an extraordinary movie a tour de force for Bette Davis. A stelar cast. Ann Baxter got the Oscar, but the plot, the script, the cinematography and all actors deserve huge praises. This is a film for "all seasons". My vote and my heart goes to it.

The majority of the people picking SOTL have never seen All About Eve. Jody Foster is a good enough actress, but Betty Davis at her very best? Please.

Wait a minute. The Silence of the Lambs...over All About Eve? Are people insane???? All About Eve is a classic that will last forever. The Silence of the Lambs was a good time, but HARDLY a classic. All About Eve has the script, the acting and just the personality to make it better. Sorry, but The Silence of the Lambs has the big names and that great title...but it cannot live up to its own hype. It ages poorly and just ends up feeling flat. Come on people. Just because it is old does not mean it is not worthwhile!
