Should crying kids be banned from restaurants?

The last thing I want to hear after a day @ work is some unruly child that their inconsiderate, oblivious & selfish parents can't control.
I have seen a woman asked to leave the restaurant with her bratty kids. The manager comped her WHOLE bill just to have them leave. The lady just laughed. She should have been arrested for inciting panic. People were very disturbed by this, as my Wife & I were.
Your business. You should have the say so on what kind of clientele you serve & expect them to abide by the rules you set.
Nothing personal. Just making sure ALL of your customers enjoy their visit.

I am surprised that people are shocked that children cry it is what they do, that's how they express themselves. And those of you that point fingers at people are fucking rediculous I never thought I would have to see the day when our entire society run out of shit to bitch about so they turn to bitching about children crying! Telling a child to stop crying is like telling you assholes to stop bitching.... It's never gonna happen!! Children will always cry just like women will always bitch and complain about everything....

I think it's not fair to parents let alone the children, people need to understand that children will cry , it's a natural emotion for everyone. They did it as a child. It's a new experience to the children, the only way they can learn is by doing. Also parents need to learn how to handle this while out. In my opinion if you can't handle crying children stay home, the public is the public for a reason, crying children will be there. Welcome to the public.

I DONT SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH A FRIENDLY REMINDER JUST LIKE ALOT OF RESTURANTS AND STORES POST SIGNS ABOUT CELL PHONE USE AND I AM THE MOTHER OF A YOUNG CHILD AND VERY LUCKY TO HAVE HAD A HAPPY BABY 95% OF THE TIME. UNFORTUNLY IT IS THE PEOPLE THAT ENJOY SHARING EVERYTHING THEY SAY WITH EVERYONE IN THE PLACE,THAT WE CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT.

I don't think children should be banned for crying but people need to stay home with their crying child is all. We were at an Olive Garden last year and a woman had an infant with her. This baby cried the entire time and the mother was just eating and chatting with her party as if she didn't her the child. After we were nearly done with our meal be began to giggle, not because the child was crying but because by then it was like a funny home video or being punked. Who allows a child to hollar that long and out in public? Additionally, people around you don't want to hear that through out the entire meal.

Children cry. That is what they do. In my opinion it is no worse then a cell phone ringing off the hook while having lunch with a friend. What about the loud adults beside your table. They are so loud you can't even hear yourself think, much less have a normal conversation with your party. To me disturbance is disturbance. If crying children are going to be banned, then annoying ringing cell phones and loud mouth adults need to be banned. With our children at least we can take them out of the picture and calm them down.

it is a shame that parents do not believe in teaching children respect for others and as a result others must. when my children were little we left an establishment if our children became unruly if only to teach them manners. and ... parents of small children should stay home not those of us who have already raised children.

Yes I feel that way but its not the kids fault it is the parents fault that cant or will not control their children . I also feel that i would rather not hear cell phone conversations either .
