Obese children should be given larger desks. However, the parents should be charged for the increase in price. This is not society's fault, it is the parent's fault. A 300 pound 14 year old does not do the grocery shopping nor does he drive through McDonalds. His parents supplied the crap he had been eating for the past 14 years that resulted in their obese child. They should pay the price for abusing their son.

They have diffrent sizes desk and chairs for the kids ,but they never have that many for each class room , and yes they should fit the kid to the rigth desks and chair so they sit right.

i dont think it is okay for so many kids to be obese and reeeally overweight....but i dont think its the childs fault. our society has let it become okay for kids to be bigger and exercise less. if they need a bigger desk they should have one. i hate to think how they would get tortured by the skinny kids or "normal" kids just because their desk is too small for them.
