dedicated mobile hotspots will still be needed , but very true, the market will decline as not all need dedicated hardware.
ie: 1) homes without broadband will require cellular internet and dedicate hotspots for homes will be needed.
2) Commuters, - for the serious commutes, your battery life is precious and a dedicated hotspot may keep you connected without killing your phone/ipad battery as well.
