1. theyre more famed/popular.
2. think about it - arent they more wholesome than the wanted? for the most part fans of both these bands are teen girls. seriously, wouldnt you rather your teenage daughter listen to catchy pop songs that have an overall good message, or would you rather them listen to The Wanted, whose hit single Glad You Came is so obviously about sex?

That is so untrue saying that one direction is said to be bigger than the beatles.. As if! The beatles were huge and to be honest the amount of people buying their album were little girls who watched them on icarly. Also if you ask people in america chances are they have no idea who they are. At least the wanted have been on Ellen so they have got a more 'grown up' fan base, where one direction and going to have 12 year old girls as fans

I'm not really a 1D fan, I'm in love with The Wanted. What really seems unfair is that everyones like well The Wanted are saying mean stuff about 1D and there not. there just messing around with them, in interviews they have said that 1D are nice boys and they treat them like younger sibilings. 1D used television and magazines to get where they are. The Wanted worked their butts off! The wanted also treat there fans with so much respect and there very greatful. I think both bands are equally talented, going off the information that i read about 1D. I will always be The Wanted lover, so please stop saying the wanted are rude, and ugly. There not! both bands have there own talent, own ways of building fame, and i respect that. They shouldn't be compared. fans should be aloud to love 1 band or the other, or even both.

The Wanted and One Direction are equally as talented. The Wanted do trash talk One Direction in more of a joking manner... and you shouldn't pick your favorite out of the two based on the fact that The Wanted trash talks more. The Wanted does make a point though... they say that One Direction has a kid audience and are more for magazines and tv shows, which is a proven fact. Sure they have a teen audience, but they preformed at the KCAs, were on iCarly, and performed with Big Time Rush on BTR's recent tour. The Wanted has an older audience which Max points out and they are more often heard on radio stations such as Z100, its is not likely for them to be heard on Radio Disney who does frequently play One Direction. Base your opinion on their music styles not the fact that one trash talks more than the other especially when their trash talk is almost completely true proven fact!

i like both but the wanted is just plain mean. did one direction ever "bullied" the wanted? no. did the wanted ever "bullied" one direction? yep. one direction is just generous. you know, one direction could just tell their fans at twitter that the wanted is saying bad stuff about them. one direction have more fans worldwide than the wanted you know. but one direction didn't do that. one direction is definitely nicer, and handsome-er

one direction won and the wanted have been having ago at one direction on interveiws when one direction are nice about them and have never done anything bad in their pop artist life style.

i love both bands but obz one direction are amazayn! in everyway and actually Niall plays the guitar and they co-wrote their songs. and anyway their songs are so much better than the wanted. the wanted couldnt come anywhere near one direction.

im a bit confused. The Wanted are the best band. One Direction don't write their songs or play instruments for them. One Direction used a TV show and The Wanted reached where they are today by themselves. I have no problems with One Direction. I have CDS,Posters,EVERYTHING. But you can see who put the most effort in to get where they are today.
i like them both they are all good looking guys and like Emma said teat both equally i mean look at them they are all hot i mean i would have sex with both bands
