Is 14 years old too young to get a tattoo, even with parental consent?

    14 is too young for a tattoo. i gave both of my boys permission to get tattoosa at the age of 16,but that wouldnt have happened at the age of 14,thats too young.

    14 is way to young for tattoo..At that age they don't even know what they want to do with the rest of their life let alone commit to something permanent like a tattoo. Let them wear the fake tattoo's if they want.

    Unfortunately parents these days don't have much better judgement than their kids. I only have (1) tattoo I got when I was 18, U.S.M.C. You should be certain you will be happy and/or proud of a tattoo, they don't wash off!

    I dont think its too young, especially if the parent has to be present. But i do believe tattoos should have some significance. So with that I'm 23 and have several tattoos and work in a professional atmosphere and no one would know im working on whole body pieces.

    I have a 13 yr old and a 15 yr old and I would not give them permission to get a tattoo that is way to young.
